Christmastime is coming up quickly, as well as the formal, suffocating dinners with family and friends. In order to provide different alternatives to El Gallo, La Nacional, and Mercurio, we visited a new venue for you to try this holiday season.

The Soft News team, comprised of René Bortoni, Daniel Escamilla, Andrés Gutiérrez, Cecilia Martínez and editor Eugenio Garza, visited el Mar del Zur on November 1st, located in plaza O2. After devouring 3 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts, the team left the restaurant pleased. Garza found the Mexican-Thai restaurant “worthy of recommendation due to their excellent presentation, great taste, and splendid service."

Spent: $2500 MXN for 5 people including a 15% gratuity. Dessert was on the house.
