Live Curious Go Beyond was a professional development event where members of the ASFM staff got to be students for a day, and teachers to other teachers. Through workshops that resemble the centers used in Nursery, educators could choose from a wide variety of topics they wanted to learn about; educational innovation being the center of all conversation.

With a few motivational words from Dr. Adams, as well as from Christian Long, the Keynote Speaker, a weekend filled with intellectual exchanges kicked off, along with Food Trucks for lunch, stands from sponsors, and other amenities for the attendants to enjoy.

Did you know?

• Live Curious Go Beyond was launched in 2015 by the Tech Integration Team, Cory Austen, Bryan Hamm, Diana Saldaña, and Doug Frankish, where only teachers from ASFM imparted and took the different workshops. After the success of the first installment, more presenters and attendees were added in future years.

• The courses offered over the weekend ranged from mindfulness and innovative learning spaces to educational apps and strategies.

• There were more than 85 presenters, of which 43 were ASFM teachers, and 42 from other schools in in Mexico and USA.

• There were 450 registered attendees, 40 kids participating in the Minecraft STEM Camps, and even parents through Eagle Parent University.

• ASFM is the only school in the country that organizes this type of event.

• 43 schools attended the event.
