Club de Español
The club enlisted the help of 9th graders to build an Altar de Muertos remembering Ulises Salinas and Guadalupe.
Scouts
There was a camping/hiking trip November 16-17. Scouts is also organizing a Huasteca Clean Up.
Business & Investment
The club has finished the Reto Actinver stock market simulation. Members of the club will be participating in TEC congress FELC middle school edition and attending INC Monterrey.
Miles For Smiles
A few Miles for Smiles staff members traveled to Oaxaca for a medical brigade. There were 101 kids operated in 5 days. They are also organizing a pet contest.
ASOMEX November 1-6
This year’s ASOMEX, hosted by ASF, is over and the results are in. Both the boys and girls soccer teams lost the semifinal but won the next game to gain a 3rd place result. In the basketball category, both boys and girls ended up in 5th place.
Green Team
The Green Team will be planting trees to help the environment. They will also be hosting a charity dinner in Casa Marco for SOSAC, a civic ecology program in Monterrey.
Robotics
CSL for Robotics will begin on Tuesdays after school, it is open for all students.
Med Club
Hospital Visit - Nov 15
Simulation - Nov 20
Med Club members will be visiting a university hospital. They will also attend a medical simulation of cases to learn how to diagnose a patient. 12 Med Club members also learned to perform an eye dissection during access.
Musical
MSHS students performed 4 shows of the musical The Little Mermaid after working on it for months. The performances were a success.
NHS
NHS students went to visit their sister school and painted a mural.
TECHO
TECHO ASFM had their first construction of the year. They constructed 16 houses in the community Torres de Guadalupe in Garcia. Around 200 volunteers attended.
